
Interested in being a food or drink vendor at Sammypalooza?
We are looking for local establishments to become vendors outside Johnson Coliseum during Sammypalooza. Thousands of SHSU students and the local community are expected to be present, and your
contribution could help make the festival memorable.
Please read all information below. We reserve the right to make revisions, in which case establishments will be notified of any changes.
Vendor Information:
- No alcohol or bars, please
- Submissions are only open to food and drink establishments - a company from another market may not purchase food and give it out.
- Vendor must provide enough servings for a minimum of 1,500 bite-sized servings
> A "serving" equates to a sample given out, similar to what is done at supermarkets
- Vendor must be present from 2:30pm - 6:30pm
- Vendor may not charge for any items handed out
- Vendor may pass out promotional items - magnets, flyers, menus, etc.
> However, promotional items must be submitted to the Sammypalooza committee by Wednesday, August 18th at 5pm and then must be approved. Any non-approved items present will be removed.
Items to Submit:
- Basic information - location, type of cuisine(s), short biography of business, any other relevant information
- Web links - such as an official website, MySpace, Facebook page, etc.
- What food samples you will be bringing
Submission Deadlines:
- To be a vendor: Friday, July 30th at 5pm
- Promotional item approval: Wednesday, August 18th at 5pm
